Hironao Kunimitsu

Founder / CEO

Born in 1974. After graduating from Santa Monica College in the U.S., he joined AtMovie, Inc. in May 2004 and was appointed as a director in the same year. He established gumi Inc. in June 2007 as founder/CEO. He then resigned from the company in July 2021 and was appointed as CEO of Thirdverse, Co., Ltd. in August 2021.

Satoshi Ban

Co-Founder / COO

Co-founded Thirdverse, Inc in June 2020. He brings more than 15 years of experience in the industry, previously as a Game Producer for PlayStation at Sony Interactive Entertainment. Formerly at Google in 2018 as a Business Development Manager, where he drove business development and corporate sales. He was appointed COO at Thirdverse in June 2021.

Co-Founder / CBO

Co-founded Thirdverse, Inc. He has been involved in the AR/VR industry since 2015, built AR/VR pipeline and launched the company’s VR incubation, acceleration and funding subsidiaries globally through establishing relationships with partners in 20 countries.
